Camper Cabin Basalt

For the first time I didn’t camp in a tent or in our pop-up camper. We stayed in a Camper Cabin. Usually when you go
camping you bring everything but the kitchen sink. When you stay at a camper cabin, you really don’t need much.

This camper cabin can sleep up to 5 people.  You can either bring your sleeping bag or sheets that fit on the mattresses.
There is a screen porch, so you can hide from the bugs! Inside the cabin you will also find a table and chairs and heat.
Yes most camper cabins have either electric or propane heat. Makes it nice on those cold nights!

You still have a fire ring out side and a picnic table. Camper cabins are a nice way to go if you like to camp,
but don’t want the hassle of the tent or campers.

Go visit a Camper Cabin and see how fun it can be. Check out your State Parks!
MICHIGAN
Porcupine Mountains Wilderness Area

This was my first time visiting Michigan. It was a blast. We camped at  Porcupine
Mountains State Park. We had our pop-up camper and I was sure happy for that.

The State Park is along Lake Superior's Shore. The week we were there, it rained
and rained! Even in the rain it was fun. Most of the time, it was just a drizzle.
We still managed to go hiking most every day.

There are miles and miles of hiking, biking, sking and so much that you can do. Don't
forget about all the Waterfalls and Lighthouses that you can see as well. In just the
week we were there, we saw 13 Waterfalls!

The kids had a blast being able to get so close to Waterfalls. This is a great way to
spend quality time with your kids.

Michigan is a place that I will keep going back to over and over again!
Plan your trip there, you won't regret it!
