| Florence in extreme northeast Wisconsin offers quite the adventure. We hooked up the Jeeps to the camper and threw the canoe on top and off we went. We stayed at Keyes Lake Campground & Mini golf Nice campgounds, it had mini golf, sand volleyball horseshoe pit, ATV trails right off the property. We found some nice mellow off-roading with the jeeps on the Goodman Grade and some adventure searching for waterfalls and many lakes to dip the canoe in. These waterfalls may not have been some of the biggest but always a thrill finding yet another new waterfall that I have never seen. We were close to bigger cities Florence and Iron Mountain, Michigan was only 20 minutes away. we were also close to Marinette County, "Wisconsin's Waterfall Capital" Well you get the picture. Camping in Florence put us in a nice central location and a reasonable price camping surrounded by adventure. I will let the pictures and videos tell the rest of the story. |
